Hungover is an early test build made by one student. Read this before you sign up. If you don't agree with it, don't use the app.

Who can use it

• You need a working psu.edu email address.
• You must be 18 or older. There is no version of this for under-18s.
• One account per person. Don't make accounts for other people.

How it works

• You can post one video per night, between 9 PM and 9 AM campus time, up to 15 seconds.
• Everyone on your campus can watch it and like it the next day, until 9 PM.
• At 9 PM the counts freeze and the ten most-liked takes are shown to everyone.
• Where you placed is shown only to you. It is not on your profile and nobody else can see it.
• You have 60 seconds after posting to take it back. After that it's in for the night.

Your videos

• You own what you post. Posting it gives Hungover permission to store it and show it to other Penn State accounts, and nothing else — we don't licence it out, sell it, or put it in advertising.
• You keep your archive as long as your account exists. Delete your account and the videos are deleted from storage too, not just hidden.
• Don't post anything you don't have the right to post, and don't post people who don't want to be posted.

What isn't allowed

• Nudity or sexual content.
• Harassment, threats, hate, or targeting a specific person to humiliate them.
• Anyone under 18 in your video.
• Filming someone who has asked you not to, or somewhere they'd expect privacy.
• Content that's illegal, or that encourages someone to hurt themselves.
• Reposting other people's videos as your own.

Anyone can report a video or block an account from inside the app. Reports are reviewed and anything breaking these rules gets removed. Accounts that keep breaking them get banned, and their videos come down with them.

This is an alpha

• Things will break. Nights may be lost. Notifications may not arrive.
• The app is provided as-is, with no guarantee that it works or keeps working.
• There's no charge, and no money involved anywhere.
• The app can be changed, paused, or shut down at any time. If it shuts down you'll get a chance to export your archive first.
